Story
Hi there!
I am one of White Cloud Foundation’s Leaping Ladies for 2023 and am hoping to raise some much-needed funds for their services that help people struggling with mental health, particularly Meals for Mums.
While I'm taking the challenge of abseiling down the Kangaroo Point cliffs on Thursday 9 March, many women face more difficult challenges everyday as they battle either post-natal depression or depression during their pregnancy. What White Cloud’s Meals for Mums does is provide simple and practical help for these women by supplying them with nutritious, home-delivered meals. This can make a huge difference to them as they often struggle to care for their family and themselves during this time.
Depression in all forms is a serious health issue and, like most people, I have been confronted with it in my life.
I want to help women battling perinatal depression and those suffering other forms of depression by raising funds for White Cloud's practical support services.
